Wintec 2000 AP? good, bad?
I lease a horse that I jump about 2'6-2'9 on and show only in very low hunters. I'm thinking about a Wintec simply because they're cheap and I don't show very often.
What are your thoughts on the Wintec 2000 AP? Or just any english Wintec at all. Pros/cons?
Also, I've used Wintecs in the past and my only complaint is that the synthetic stirrup leathers stick and I find them to be extremely frustrating to adjust. So, my question is: does it make any sense to use actual stirrup leathers with a Wintec saddle? Or is that just weird?
My mom has that saddle and I have ridden in it a minimal amount but, it was very comfortable to jump in and ride in. My trainer called it a butt burner saddle though. hah. And hmm i guess what ever is comfortable for you because I also had issues with adjusting stirrup length. maybe u could get a different pair of black leather stirrup leathers so it's more comfortable/easy.
Hope this helped:)

wintec adjustable? gullet or tree?
I'm looking for a wintec saddle as I'm a bigg fan of synthetic as well as I'm constantly changing horses so the idea of an adjustable gullet sounds amazing to me!
I herd someone say the other day adjustable tree?
Is that possible ?
I thought it was just the gullet?
My Wintec has an adjustable gullet, and yes they are pretty good, we went for the CAIR package too.
They are very easy to adjust, in 5 minutes or so, easy to keep clean, and pretty lightweight.
We love them, but they are not for everybody, some I talk to hate them!!!
Good luck!

I was going to recommend the Wintec before I read the details.
I don't think Hilason saddles are comparable to Wintecs
