Western tack with turquoise!!! Can I use it for...?
I may do some western pleasure with the appy I'm going to lease, and he looks amazing in turquoise, and I have a whole turquoise and sand theme picked out, but I think it would look amazing to have a headstall with turquoise and silver. Can I use that for wp? And where can I find a nice one? with light oil leather.
You can use any leather tack in Western Pleasure, but I'm not saying you are going to place.
If you want to do Western Pleasure, I suggest you get at least a plain leather one or two ear headstall to keep your WP bit and leather split reins on. You can use this for WP and your turquoise tack for everything else. And in WP you don't use a breast collar or flank cinch unless they are needed for your horse. So if you get a whole set of turquoise tack, you'd be better off not using it in WP.

It's perfect for someone who wants to do some WP every once in a while as it's good quality and very cheap. This is what I use on my horse in shows.
