It was a good laugh! I'm with you on the western saddle front. There are very few I've been able to feel comfortable in, mostly old balanced ride saddles, which the barn aisle grapevine tells me are hard to find.
I have nothing against western riding and western saddles, I just can't seem to get situated easily. They feel enormous to me. I usually end up dropping my stirrups, insert feet between stirrup and horse (to keep the stirrup from hitting the horse in the side) and finishing the workout like that. The good news is riding without stirrups is always a nice test of your seat. The bad news: some of those stirrups can bruise your ankles!

So I would say anywhere in between that! But… Don't sell your pretty horse! That horse has so much potential that you can't find in most horses! You 2 could go FAR!! Keep this horse in tip-top condition but still think about getting a Quarter horse! These 2 breeds are great ones!
