Do Thorowgood Saddles Do what they say?
Ok, so people claim they will really help you position and keep you secure over fences. I have problems feeling secure over fences, so do these really help? If not, is there a saddle that makes you feel secure and helps your jumping position?
I don't know much about thorowgood saddles but a girl at my yard had one and it slipped every time she jumped more than about 2'!!!
i've always liked wintec and any thing withe a deep seat!!!!also, try and find one with adjustable knee blocks so you can possition it in the most secure place for you!!! jumping saddles that arent to forward cut are great but the best saddles are the slightly older english and german gp saddles like stubben, jefferys, lovette and rickett, barnsby........i ride in a lovette and rickett gp pony saddle and used to ride in a barnsby gp....love both of them, especially the barnsby for jumping!!!
