A few Spanish Sentences I need to make sure are correct?
I'm sort of translating Sleepy Hollow into Spanish (a condensed version) and I was wondering if a few of my sentences were correct (the main thing is that we're doing imperfect vs. preterite) oh and ignore accents, don't remember alt codes atm lol...

Is this a good prank to play? What should we do?
I am in love with a pretty girl, Katrina Van Tassel, the daughter and only child of a substantial Dutch farmer. She loves me, too, because I am good looking and athletic. There is this man, a teacher, tall and lanky and pitiable, constantly reading "History of New England Witchcraft," who is flirting with Katrina, and I do not like it. My athletic friends and I decided to play a prank on him. He is very superstitious and believes in ghosts and such like, so we want to scare him with a ghost of a Hessian trooper, which, they say, haunts the neighbourhood. We have plenty of large pumpkins and even a horse (I am a skillful horseman). What is the best way to pull this prank? What should we do?
