Can you help me determine the appropriate price for this used tack?
I would like to work for/ buy the dressage saddle I borrow from my trainer over the summer. It is a Stubben Maestoso and I LOVE it. I am fully aware of the cost of this saddle new. I am wondering how age affects price. I just don't want to get cheated into paying an unfair price. I'm guessing this saddle is 10-15 years old and I am being conservative if anything. Also, the saddle is in decent repair, but poorly cared for in terms of cleanliness/oiling. Should this affect what I pay? Thanks for any help!
Here's my suggestion: Go to ebay and search the auctions that have already ended for this saddle. You will find saddles of varying ages and conditions, and can get an idea what they are selling for. If you cannot find a lot of that exact saddle, you can look for other Stubben models that are similar.

Can I glue the carpet to the floor without using tack strip?
Can I glue the carpet with the floor? I don't want to use tack strip, I hate the nails in the tack strip.
If I glue the carpet with the floor. what glue I should choose so that it I can Peel back the carpet in future to stretch it?
And that is why we use tack strips. Glue, even though it is a more ideal situation right now, it's not so in the end.
There is no guarantee that the glue (even Gorilla glue) will effectively keep the carpet taut and tight.

You don't want to go through all that work only for your work to be messed up after some time due to cutting corners. When it comes to home improvement or DIY, you do it right or don't do it at all.
