My parents bought me a used English saddle, and i have no idea what size it is!?
My parents found a used Crosby English Saddle, in very good condition at a garage sale, for $100 from a former fox hunter. They bought it to surprise me, but i have no idea how to find it's size, or my size for the matter. It's my first saddle, and i don't even have a horse to rent yet (still talking to people about it before i decide) i tried looking up how to find the size, and found that it needs to fit me and my horse, is there even a small possibility it can work?
Yes, there is a definite possibility it will work. Saddles are not made in an infinite number of sizes, so if you saddle is a medium (or a large/wide) and your horse has a medium (or wide) back, you will probably find that the saddle fits. This link: http://www.thetackguide.com/saddlefitting.html
