Show Saddle World

does this bother you too?!?!?
so i was watching some videos of the apha fall world show, and i watched this hunter under saddle class, and all of the horses were JOGGING and LOPING. I love western don't get me wrong, but i was taught that horses are more extended in english pleasure. like these horses were going SOOO slow. I know its supposed to be "pleasurable" but i don't think that's right to do in an english class. do you agree? or am i wrong? i know most of the horses that show in english show in western too but stillll. thanks in advance
First of all, I take offense that you'd say that a QH is never going to do well in the higher showing. My best friends show a QH in Junior Hunters on the A and AA circuit and places just as well, sometimes even beating warmbloods. One of my good friends has a Appaloosa pony that is placing very well in the mediums on the A circuit.
It doesn't bother me though, because the HUS kids are trying to be hunters, they're trying to be HUS AQHA hunters. It'd be different if they came in and tried to show at an AA hunter jumper show, but they're not. Bashing their discipline is like saying, "All dressage riders use rollkur", "All saddleseat riders use soaring and over shoe their horses", or even "All hunter jumpers are stuck up pricks".

Please give comment......can dressage be done on bare horseback riding??
recently watching dressage, show jumping and riding pleasure on bareback competition. it was so amazing and surprise how they ride ,saw only females riders only and no males involved. all them 40 females rider and wear different skin tights costumes that attract mostl males audience......
why i cant see males with bareback ride and they compete in show jumping and trail with saddle on....
horseback riding been involved 90% females on now days around the world,do you agree?? this is the info been given during the ceremony before start competition.
Sure it can be done, but it requires that you be absolutely balanced with an excellent seat. Remember Native Americans rode, hunted, and waged war on horses riding bareback for thousands of years so, yes, it is possible to do most sports bareback. That being said, in competition you probably would not be allowed to ride without a saddle and why wouldn't you want the extra security a saddle provides? Certainly, going against the grain like that would be frowned upon. I'd say bareback is good for when you are practicing and is actually good at helping you develop a super balanced seat. But take a saddle with you into the competition ring.
