cashel soft saddle?
im thinking about getting a cashel soft saddle for my 'aging' mother as a birthday present, i thought that it might be more comfortable for her when she rides. whould this be a wise choice? are they worth the money? has anyone else purchased one?

I've never seen one in person, but it really looks like an overpriced bareback pad to me. Also, could it cause back problems (for your mom) from lack of balanced support (would also depend on the shape of the horse's back, I guess). How about getting her one of Cashel's seat cushions that attach to her current saddle instead?
