Good dressage saddle brands?
I'm looking to get a new dressage saddle. Problem is, I have really long legs, especially my thighs, so it's hard to get a dressage saddle to fit. I was wondering what some good brands are, preferably under 1500. I don't want to buy off of ebay, really I would like a new one, but a scratch and dent would be okay. I love my HDR jumping saddle, has anyone tried there Buffalo dressage saddle? What about the Dover circuit? I have an 18 long flap jumping saddle, so i'd probably need an 18 or 18.5.

I know they aren't the greatest brands, but i'm on a budget. Or if you could find an 18 or 18.5 nice quality on ebay or other websites. If I got a used one though, I want good quality.
Well, I've never heard of brand #1, but it looks reasonably nice. The price is OK! You also get cutback, which can be good, although I've only ever actually *needed* it for one horse.
I simply don't like the look of #2, and that's all I can say, because I've never heard of the brand. It's also synthetic, which I personally don't prefer. Was the first one synthetic too? I'm not sure but I didn't notice that. Synthetic saddles are great for the weight and don't wear as quickly, but when they do get worn they get rrreally ugly.
The Henri de Rivel saddle is the only brand I've heard of, though I don't have personal experience with it. It seems pretty nice.
Personally I'd always recommend a good stubben saddle. Getting them new, they cost a fortune, especially here where I live, but their Tristan series is DIVINE...

So I know Stübben is above your budget, but I see you're open to buying used, so here we go....
I personally am too scared to buy used online, but I might buy used from a tack store (or from a saddler). You can get REALLY good value for money.

I wouldn't personally dare to purchase a used saddle from eBay, but it's great for research on the market. Most of these people are honest sellers who just want to get rid of their saddle. If you want to buy there, you can afford a Stübben, Passier, Albion or Pessoa saddle for the same budget that you're setting for yourself for a mediocre saddle now. =) But I would recommend, if you're going for it, to ask the seller thorough questions about the saddle and the tree beforehand.

18'' is more unusual than 17, but there's still a LOT of it out there!
There is SO much out there that you can just take your pick based on the price, quality and the reliability of the seller. I hope you find something you like! All this searching makes me wish I was in a position to buy a new saddle now
