I have 11 acres of my farm fenced for pasture a person wants to put 6 mares an a stud horse on the pasture for?
whats them there for 4 months what should i charge by acre per horse or per acre property is in western ky.
Call around some places in your area and find out what the going rate is. I am in Tn. and if I were going to board horses it would depend on several things. Does he want you to feed and pay for it? Since summer is approaching, you will not need hay so that is something you would't have to consider. Do you have a barn? Horses need shelter whether it be summer of winter. In sumer, some pretty fierce storms come through Kentucky, and horses need shelter from them. If you have pasture only and do not have to feed, I would say that about $400 per horse is fair. If you have a barn, I would go for $600. At least tht is what the going price is around here, and you are not that far away. Good luck

Western riding instructors in south east Queensland?
I'm 18 and an experienced rider. Basically, I am desperate to get into barrel racing/pole bending/campdrafting/cutting pretty much any western horse sport.
The catch is...I don't own my own horse at this point in time. I ride a couple of horses, but none of them would be suitable for what I want them to do.
So basically, does anyone know of ANY western trainers/coaches/studs/training centres located in the SE QLD/Brisbane area who have their own horses for students to ride???
Any advice on how I can make this dream a reality will be appreciated greatly

Wut up SEQ!! I live in Brisbane.
But more to the point...
I tried google and that gave me nothing but holiday riding crap... Best I can think of is find a school close to you and ask them if they know any campdrafters.
I know that at Pony Club you can get into campdrafting but you'd need your own horse 
Alternatively, you can ask at a Pony Club. Most musters are the first asnd third Sundays if you didn't know. Someone there may be getting lessons or something.
Most barrel racers I know of have trained themselves coz sadly there's not much instruction around for it unless you live in Warrick or something.
Boots like that were very much in style in 2008-2009. Nowadays we're not seeing them on the runways or the fashion mags so much, but plenty of people are still wearing them on the street. Personally, I wouldn't buy them now because western is definitely on the way out of style.
