Whats it for? Help! Lunge cavesson..?
Iv just purchased a new lunge cavesson from my local tack store. Didnt realise till when id gotten home that it had an extra strap from the nose band up to the top of the head? :S

Iv never seen a lunge cavesson with this on before.. Is it needed?
I know what a lunge cavesson is. Iv just never seen the extra strap on any before..
Could it be to increase pressure on the poll?
I've never seen that either but it looks like it would stabilize the cavesson from slipping side to side. As much as I like using a lunge cavesson, they tend to slip quite a bit if the horse hesitates or moves their head or doesn't go in a perfect circle especially if on the top or middle ring.. All in all, it's not a bad thing!!

How to Properly Fit Your Breast Collar with an Over the Wither Strap
I have a popular hunter jumper riding helmet, fit for my head but it looks and feels like its to big. is it?
I had my helmet fit for my head by the owner of a tack shop. I love the helmet and the style but when i put it on no matter how much i tighten the straps i am able to lift it off my head about 1/3 of an inch and it DOESNT fell snug. also looks big for my head.... can anyone give me some insight or advice... help?
