1. what would be a good size horse for me? i'm 5"5' and 117 lbs
2. how often does the dentist have to come out for your horse?
3. if you have ever used chaps (western chaps) do you find them helpful, how?
4. what kind of blanket do you find to work best? that's not crazy expensive
5. how do you size for a blanket?
6. how do you know if a saddle doesn't fit right?

1. Anything from 13 hands to 17 hands.... honestly size does not matter!
2. About once a year, unless you run into problems
3. I use half-chaps, they reduce chaffing, make my leg stick to the saddle more, annd hides that my awesome breeches are too short for my boots :p

6. The horse may buck or be uncomfortable, it won't sit well on the back of the horse, or you would need to pile 500 saddle pads...
7. Protect the hoof, usually for when they go out, or when you jump for when the hoof hits the jump.
8. No, I find it ruins the whole point of bareback...

What size of bareback pad should i get?
my horse is 14.3 and i am buying a bareback pad soon i dont no what size of saddle he is it came with him and i never asked what size it was cuz it fit me but im like 5 7 if that helps he is 14.3 paint and is a size 48 girth and he loves bareback so plezzzzzzzz help and soon im going shopping tonight
