My TI 84 Plus Silver Edition will not show up on my computer when plugged in tp the usb drive?
I just bought this today and at first it worked but it stopped working after i downloaded a studycard thing about U.S. Capitals. Please Help.
Try to reinstall the TI drivers from CD. Also, if you have multi-user setup, make sure you are the only person logged in, when you try to plug TI.

Can I remove silver from a show halter for cleaning and how do I replace missing crystals?
I recently purchased a used Kathy's silver show halter. It is really dirty. Is it okay to unscrew and remove all the silver accents from the leather? It would be much easier to clean if I do that. I just didn't know if there was special adhesives or something else under the silver.
Also, there is a crystal missing. It looks like the crystals are held in place by some sort of "setting" (like jewelry has). But on the missing crystal, the little metal bars are broke off. If I can even find a matching crystal, can I just glue it in? Is there special glue for this type of application? Or is it better to take it somewhere to be repaired?
If the silver is held on with Chicago screws through the back, removal is not a problem. Putting them back on in the same places they came from can be a problem, if you don't keep careful track. When you remove each piece, place it in a safe place, as if it was on the halter. Although the silver pieces and leather halter parts were originally made identical, they have settled in to their specific places with each other. If you put them back in different places (left cheekpiece on the right side, for instance), it will show.
Clean the leather, and while the leather dries before or between coats of oil/conditioner, polish the silver. Carefully remove all the polish from the back of the silver pieces too - the polish will dry the leather and degrade it.
Similarly, remove all the excess oil from the leather before reattaching the silver. Oil will interact with the leather and metal to create green gunk.
Once you've got your 'new' halter nice and clean and shiny, you can keep it that way by cleaning it frequently with glycerine saddle soap. First polish the silver, then use a toothpick wrapped with a cloth to clean around the silver. This will keep the leather clean and supple, prevent the green gunk from collecting, and you won't have to bother removing the silver each time.

for crystals and mounting hardware. Hobby Lobby or other hobby shops might have crystals, too. If you find a stone anywhere that fits the existing hardware, any superglue should hold the stone in the hardware.
This is why I don't care for bling - it falls off and then you're stuck with ratty-looking bling, instead of plain good leather that ages gracefully. I guess if you're showing, you have to follow the show fashions.
