doe the tail of the engish bulldog have to cover the anus to be a show quality dog.?

I have a puppy whose tail does cover her anus when you gently pull it to the right, but it veres off the the left a little when it is natural so the anus is exposed. Is this considered bad in the show ring?

The tail may be either straight or "screwed" (but never curved or curly), and in any case must be short, hung low, with decided downward carriage, thick root and fine tip. If straight, the tail should be cylindrical and of uniform taper. If "screwed," the bends or kinks should be well defined, and they may be abrupt and even knotty, but no portion of the member should be elevated above the base or root.

Queen - The Show Must Go On (High Quality)

How can a Doberman breeder tell a "show" quality dog when its just a tiny puppy?

Where in N. Florida can I find a breeder with a show quality doberman pinscher without spending an arm in a leg?
I am doing both. I already have a dobie puppy but within 2 years (hopefully) I'd like to purchase and show another. I'm trying to learn everything I can..that's why I'm asking.
I consider an Arm and a leg over $5000. I did not buy my puppy from a petstore.

A responsible Dobermann breeder would only describe a well bred puppy as having *show potential*.

At eight weeks old a breeder would be able to distinguish between pups with flaws {usually sold as companion dogs with spay/neuter term} & pups with show potential. However, as they are still to young to gauge how well they will develop, some breeders will *run on* two Dobes, until they are around six months old or sell on terms/co-ownership.

The kennel my current b*tch came from sold a Dobermann b*tch, who has gained to date 22CC & was BOB at Crufts in 2009, so mistakes happen.

Expect to pay an arm & a leg for a well bred Dobermann with show potential & to wait on a breeders list. {I waited two years for my current b*tch}

Good luck finding your Dobermann.
