what is a two point seat when ridding a horse?
Bubblehead explained it pretty well. Your two point position is when your butt is lifted slightly out of the saddle and you hold on with your thighs. You do not lean forward though. It is the position show jumpers get into when they are going over the jump (the rider) The two point is usually used for perfecting your body position. Your legs should look no different in your two point than when you are sitting regularly on the horse.

How To Improve Your Classical Seat In Horse Riding
What is the ideal position for hunt seat?
I am a saddleseat rider but have a quarter horse that I ride hunt seat. I started of riding hunt seat but then changed to saddleseat so my hunt seat position is getting really bad. So what is hunt seat position supposed to look like and how do I make myself do that? Pictures would be nice but you don't have to put any.
Im with ya girl!!! I ride saddleseat and huntseat too.. Instead of thinking about how different the two styles of riding are try n go off of the similarities. In saddleseat you CAN carry your legs in more of a chair seat however that line ear shoulder hip heel should still be there. Same for huntseat... lower your hands in huntseat cuz your not really trying for as high of neck carriage or as much animation in front. You'll sit more on your crotch and less on your a$$.. Same as with saddleseat you dont want to be pulling yourself up when you post but feel the horses motion and let them boost you up. Long low legs that should hang underneath you, heels down, shoulders back, boobs out, elbows it, soft hands, soft seat, light contact. The MAIN difference atleast for me is when you ride saddleseat you almost put yourself behind the motion of the horse in order to help enhance the gaits.. in huntseat you want to ride ALMOST forward of the horses motion but not quite.
