How to get horse cantering in round pen or lunge line ?
i have a 7yr old QH that i cannot get to canter.. ive had her since she was 2 so she was never taught to canter with a saddle. she is a awesome horse and walk/trots everything really good except thats all. If you try more then a trot on the lunge line the just stops turns and looks at you confused. and in the round pen she just doesnt go just walks around.
You can thumb me if you want but... If you have had this horse since she was two and shes now 7 and you haven't cantered her or don't know how to get her to do it then...IF she is as good as you say she is, take her to good trainer so you don't mess her up trying something you are not educated enough to do... Just a thought from another trainer..

Dressage Saddle HELP?!?
Ok. You know how some dressage saddles have knee rolls that kind of pop out? They are thicker so that the rider is held in more?
You know the dressage saddles with flat knee rolls?
Can they work as effective? I have recently taken dressage as a disipline and LOVE it. I FINALLY found a brand new dressage saddle on State Line Tack...IN MY PRICE RANGE!!! 
** Do you think that buying the saddle with flat knee rolls would be bad for my position or riding?

there are so many to choose from , Your seat should be the same in what ever you buy
I personally like them.. when they DON'T hold me in so much
I want one that I can move my legs back or forward without being restrictied,,
I really do not like the ones with all the padding , and make you sit the saddle the way it was built!!
Just try a few out , they do have that policy,, and then you even can buy those that they have used for trying them out !
