are saddle shoes (girls) a good choice for 8th graders ?
It depends on if you are wearing them for fashion or for anything else. I'm assuming fashion? If you are then sure, just be sure to pair them with more feminine pieces. A cute, girly skirt and a fun shirt would work well. No formal pants or more boyish accessories (jacket/blazer/tie/) Hope that helps! : )

Yes she died at Cheltenham station which I live not too far from. Very sad and I have often stood at train stations and wondered why something better cannot be devised for protection from just something like this. Australia really seems to be lacking in safety all round when it comes to trains with all the deaths that are occuring at level crossing and now this.
Sympathy to her family as it sound like she was a girl who had everything going for her.
