Name and equipment color suggestions?
Earlier I posted a question trying to figure out which horse I wanted more but Ive resolved that and now need help with a name and a color for all the tack and such.
The horse I chose is a Gypsy Sport Horse (Gypsy Vanner Friesian cross) who is a two year old gelding to be. He is a very dark bay color with three white socks and a star and snip. He has plenty of feather and is very sweet and a beautiful mover.
For a name I was thinking about either Kryptonite or Tango and maybe black and red tack? I'm open to suggestions on names and good colors for a bay.
I like Tango...reflects the romantic history of his ancestry and his undoubtedly tall dark and and handsome good looks. He needs a classy name. Somehow Kryptonite makes me think of a flighty and headstrong black throughbred. It seems too rough and tumble.
I've never been a fan of red tack and sometimes it seems to downright clash with most bays. I've always thought blues looked best on bays, particularly the more jewel toned shades comming out lately?

does anyone have pics of a reddish chestnut/sorrel horse with black tack?
ok, so i posted a question earlier asking which colour tack wud suit my chestnut mare (red chestnut with lighter mane and tail) does anyone have any pics of their horse which u can post up so i can see? i cant find pics os chestnuts with black tack anywhere lol..........if u have any pics of a chestnut in brown tack that wud be helpful too to contrast! thanks guys!!
You know, there is site where you can pick the color of your horse, and then see what color tack looks good on the horse. Try it out!
