Is the Camelot Close Contact saddle good or is it cheap and bad quality?

I was looking into buying a saddle and I found a Camelot close contact saddle on Dover saddlery. It got a 5 star review and it is $319.00. I have a small budget. I have been riding for 6 years and so I jump and I ride every week. I do not own my own horse. I ride a pony and the Camelot review said it fit a variety of horses. Of course I'm going to talk to my trainer about it and see if it is good but I still want to know ahead of time if the saddle is fairly nice... I'm not looking for a really really nice saddle. If you could tell me if the Camelot is somewhat nice and a good buy and comfortable and anything else that might be helpful like if you liked it and why or if you don't like it and why that would be great. Thnx!
I am allowed to get a saddle! My trainer said so herself!

Yea, its a good saddle and a good price. You don't need to buy something very nice at first (ie. pessoa etc..) lol

And i highly disagree with the first guy that answered. You need to be comfortable too. If you're uncomfortable, you wont ride as well as you could. But you do need to make sure it fits you horse properly.

How to train a small pony?

I am purchasing a small pony for my kids. He is a great deal and I know both sire and dam and that this pony will be a phenomenal all around mover for the hunters or Dressage. He is just turned four and although he has been lunged, saddled and bridled he has never had a rider. I am 99% sure that I am too big for him and my kids are too young. We live in an area where there aren't a lot of kids for me to ask to train him. Someone suggested sandbags in the saddle and ground driving to simulate a rider to make him safe for when the kids are able to get on?

When my kids can walk-trot-canter without stirrups they will be going to a trainer for lessons how to jump so I'm only worried about the basics right now.
A lot of ponies are too small to be ridden and trained by an adult. What I am asking is how those ponies are trained.

Sandbags do work pretty good, but obliviously they can't be too heavy. I used driving and it works great! And now our pony is like so broke we can sleep on him... :-)
