How big should my round pen be for my horse?
I have never had a round pen before,but Im planning on getting one soon.. Don't know how big it should be.. Im planning on using the round pen to help saddle train one of my new mares..
Any advice would be great! Thanks 
A proper round pin for training is 60-90 foot. Its not to small or not to big.

Is Your Horse Broke???
Do you think this horse might be a good western horse?
I have always thought it would be fun to do cow penning and an ultimate trail challenge. My girl is built more for hunter/jumpers. I have been working with a horse for a friend of mine and he offered to give her to me so I could use her for western. I would just really like some opinions on her. I know the pic I included is not the best but it is the only one I have.
She is a pinto
3 years old
14 hands right now but should grow a bit more
She has good ground manners, very sweet but can be a bit of a pest at times
I just started her training in the saddle. She saddles well, can be mounted from both sides and I have walked around on her but that is it. I have not found anything she spooks at.
I will be taking her up to some cows to see how she does next weekend.

She looks like she has the build for western riding, and if you work with her, she could really go far. Some horses in the top leagues have interesting visual features, as does this one. It would set her appart from the others. I would say go for it. She could do you good!
