Lid Cover

How do I get the rubber lid off the spark plug cover? Do i pull really hard?
My car is a 2003 Dodge SX, 4 door
What, are you Canadian or something? LOL
"Always remove the spark plug cable by grasping the top of the spark plug insulator, turning the boot 1 / 2 turn and pulling straight up in a steady motion."
Actually, it's best to grip the boot (the rubber part) as low as possible. After it breaks loose from the twisting, brace yourself so you don't fall over backwards when it comes loose, and give it a firm but steady pull.
If they're hard to get to with your hand, there are several brands of special pliers available to reach them with. K-D brand is a good quality affordable brand. About $10-$15.
