What is the point of tall boots?
What is the point of having tall boots (either lace-up or western) if your pants are just going to cover the leg part anyway?
They are now fashionable,and they will keep the leg warm. The original use was if one were walking in rough terrain they would protect ones leg from injuries and scratches, insect and snake bites etc.Tucking the trouser into the boot is also fashionable now and it keeps in the warmth.
