well i love showing and would never just up and stop showing what my racking horse iis about but i love being out and being able to run and just be my self on the horse!!!!id would make time for both
i love both, but i would prefer showing. i like the tranquility of trail rides, but i also just love showing. it gives me such high spirits!

Horse Trail
When trail riding your horse, where do you ride?
Do you have your own property to ride on, or do you ride on nearby state land, neighbors land, or county roads.
I am very lucky when it comes to trail riding. The owners of the farm have a huge property- 100 acres. We can only ride on half of it usually, but if there is a benefit or some special program we can ride on all of it. There are woods, fields, roads, rivers, and beaches. It's great! In the winter we trailer to a state beach to ride on a few times a week. There are also a few trips planned throughout the year. State parks in Maine and Vermont usually.
