List of things you need before full leasing a horse?
I am going to lease a horse I have been riding for the past couple years. Besides the tack and brushes what are the things I need. I have a few things already but i was wondering what else i needed. I already have-
Brushes
Tack
Halter
Lead
splint boots
shampoo
martingale
blanket
what else do i need. I feel like i am leaving a lot of stuff out.
& yes. i can pay for the farrier and vet bills(:

Honestly, you need to talk to whomever you are leasing this horse from, some owners would prefer you to use the horse's brushes, tack, blankets, etc. and other owners feel that you are riding the horse and you are responsible for everything from saddle and bridle to blankets and a first aid kit. Your list seems pretty basic, which is fine but also check if you need anything special for that horse, (draw reins? Are you even going to need a martingale?)
