Hevy Tree

Hevy Tree
would a pole saw be easier or more difficult than a standard chainsaw for preparing limbs for chipping?

if have limbs , small trees, etc that need to be prepared for a chipper by sawing off the limbs beyond 6 inches of the trunk...would it be easier to use a pole saw (As this is what i used to cut them down) or would it be easier to use a standard hevy duty chain saw and why?

please explain what you can too.about how time consuming in relationship to cutting them down and running through the chipper afterwards and why?

thanks for your answers!

The only reason a pole saw would be better would be if the branches to be cut were out of reach or were too precarious to get to on a ladder. A chain saw is faster and more efficient and can reduce the size of the branches for chipping with considerably less effort and time.
