Henri De Rivel Pro Show Jumping Saddle?

i am looking for a new saddle and a few months ago i rode in a stubben siegfried and loved it but recently i rode in it again and i don't think that is what i am looking for anymore. i like a light seat and forward flaps. i am very interested in the hdr pro show jumping saddle. is it a good saddle? i really like the style of it.
okay, the thing about forward flaps....meaning that they are more forward than the a/p saddle i have now so i am not looking for a saddle with flaps that are really far forward.

It's not bad, it's actually designed for people who prefer not to have too forward flaps. It's also not as light as I like.

I like the Beval Natural CC, it's super close contact. I've tried a lot of jumping and all purpose saddles and I absolutely adore this one.

Henri De Rivel saddles?

I recently purchsed a Henri De Rivel saddle. It's the PRO A/O CLOSE CONTACT SADDLE. I love it. It fits me perfectly and everything. I have not ridden in it yet because i had it on trial for a week to see if it fits me/ my horse (i needed a confirmation by my trainer). Then, I was on vacation so i have to go back and by leathers and sitrrups.

So pretty much, i was wondering about feedback on this/ any Henri De Rivel saddles. Any problems? thanks!

I personally don't own a HDR but I've ridden in them before and a barn I sometimes work with has 3 or 4 of them.

I personally find them to be uncomfortable (hurts my seat bones) but if you're comfortable in it, that's good!

The leather isn't anything amazing, but it's fairly durable- their HDRs being probably 4-10 years old, getting lots of use, and only being WIPED down once a week. One of them now has a huge split in the saddle flap and part of the leather is becoming un-glued (near the front of the flap by the padded knees) though it's still completely safe to ride in. Their others are perfectly fine other than a few scratches / discolored places.

If the saddle fits you and your horse, I'd go for it as it's good quality for the price.
