Buying a rescued horse that has a spot of hair missing on the muzzle?
I currently own three of my own horses (jumper, pleasure, and trail) but I had talked to my parent's and we decided that I could purchase a rescued horse as a bit of a side project for myself, and also to get him to the point where we can use him as a beginner horse for riders at the barn where I board.
The only problem that we have is that he has a big patch of hair missing on his muzzle from where the old (and abusive) owner had the horses bridle too tight.
Is there any possible way that his hair there could grow back? If anyone has any tips, let me know.

Try M-T-G, that stuff can work miracles. It can sometimes help scarred skin regrow the hair, not always, but my trainer rescued a horse with many scars (both old and fresh) and the M-T-G regrew hair on nearly all of them.
It smells pretty bad, and it'll cause sunburn so don't let the horse out in direct sunlight for at least 12 hours after you apply it, works best to put it on at night. They say to put it on every week, but personally I put it on every few days.
