Living in Australia but want to sell my horse on american market?
okay so i have a really great paint wins everything he goes in, his father was champion cutter and reiner in Australia, his bloodlines are perfect his gradsire was imported etc etc....he's being trained in cutting right now...how would i advertise him on the american market...how much should i charge, just any info you have about selling horses overseas

Having lived in Perth at one time, I do have a little insight into this. Matter of fact if I'd had my then 2 yr old QH colt with me, I might have made some money.
Now one of the owners of my AQHA mare's foals (A Palomino filly) actually sold the filly and she went to the UK and she did so using Dreamhorse.com.
You said "Paint" now do you mean APHA registered or just pinto in colouring?
I'd check through the cutting horse NCHA, http://www.nchacutting.com/ and see if they have a classified section as well and what the price tags they are getting for proven cutters.
IF I remember correctly, you can advertise that there is NO quarantine with horses coming from Australia to the US too.
I'm seeing on Dreamhorse.com that a proven cutting horse stallion can go from anywhere from $25,000.00 to $60,000.00 (US)...
Geldings, $6,500 - $25,000.00 (US).

AQHA Cutting Horse Bloodlines: "Snackbox" Is this horse well-bred?
This mare is advertised as a cutting prospect, and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about her bloodlines? I know some about Quarter Horse bloodlines, but not so much in the recent cutting horse realm. Here's a link to an ad for her, with photo:

She is a daughter of Snackbox. Has anyone heard of him, and does he have any success in his background? Snackbox is by Haidas Pep out of Brudders Sunday Best.
This mare is out of Freckles San Cutter, by Freckles San Man, out of Sunshine Cutter.
If anyone can give me more info on these bloodlines, as far as if they are good or mediocre, please let me know. Thanks!!!
I don't know about Snackbox but anything by Hiadas Pep is worth looking into! He is a very nice horse.

I love cutting and she is bred to the hilt! she should do something! Sugar Bars and Doc Bar. OMG!
EDIT: she is a nice looking mare. If you are going to pay that kind of money then be sure you do something with her! She is bred to cut and I would get her to a trainer and see what she can do. The pic of her is not good but she does have a rear end! If she doesn't cut then there are lots of other things she could do but like I said, for that price she better cut! You don't get much better then her blood lines.
