What snowboard should I buy?

I want to buy a new board but I don't have any idea which is the best one for me. I have been looking at the Burton Custom X 159 wide but I would like some advice before I decide on anything.

At the moment I ride a K2 Brigade 163 Wide. I am an intermediate rider. I am confident on and off piste but have only just started to attempt jumps and tricks. I want to get better at tricks but the board will be used for a mix of everything.

I stand 184cm (6'1"), weigh 10st 3lbs (143lbs/ 64kg) and have size 12UK boot (12.5 US/ 47 EU) so I will need a wide board. I have a 0/ 14 regular stance. I use 2008 Burton bindings that can be used with the Burton channel system and normal boards.

Any Ideas?

In my opinion, the board you are riding now is a tad too big, but the one your looking at seems ok. If you want to be better at tricks, then i suggest you get a slightly smaller board, but if you would rather ride powder, than a slightly longer board. if its for everything then get a medium sized board

Daytona Beach BIKEWEEK 2007 (the only REAL Bikeweek)

Which bike would you take? why?

I am in the market for a bike I can beat on and survive. Its going to be used for street riding and tricks. Im going to go down stairs, grind stairrailings, all while doing jumps.

SO heres my choices:
Mongoose California edition- not sure what year BUT HAS SKYWAY mag's which are heavy but the bike overall isnt too heavy. Its a CLASSIC and in perfect condition! The guy is looking for 200

OR a Verde Vex -not sure what model, for 150, just plain ole spokes. I hear these bikes are LIGHT? the guy is asking 150 (has a custom paint job, but Im going to inquire about that more, considering that Im not going to consider it if its a half ass job)

So those are my choices, Im in a pickle because you never see a Mongoose Cali, but if the Verde is a VERY good bike... I just need help

Verde Vex because mongooses aren't considered a good bmx bike they are made of steel and not the Chromoly metal that the vex has also the mongoose would need ALOT of upgrades to be able to withstand everything that you are planing to do with your bike and the mongoose is a toys r us, walmart, and target bike now the verde sounds like a better deal and is a better bike and you won't need new parts for a month or longer because they are pretty strong
