What is a rubber hard cell phone case?

I'm looking on ebay for a new cell phone case and it says it's a "rubber hard case cover." Do you know what that means?

It's a plastic case with rubber-type spray coating on it to make it easier to grip. It helps protect the phone from damage if accidentally dropped.

Can you make your own custom cell phone case? Not a skin, an actual, hard case?

I've been making custom skins for a few months now, and I'd like to have a few different ones to switch between, but peeling them off and re-applying could certainly damage the skin. Is there a website or company that offers custom cases, ones you can upload your own images?

Yes i believe so!! at www.skinit.com you can upload your own pictures!

  2. You are not asking about ad hoc hyphenation to form adjectives but about nouns like "crossbow" or "cross-bow", "school master" vs. "school-master" vs. "schoolmaster". The answer is simple: you have to look them up in a dictionary every time until you've memorized them all. Sorry.

British English tends to leave compound nouns hyphenated or separate, calling the American habit of combining them into one word "Germanization", after the way German strings words together like beads (Straßenreinigungsgebühr). This is the area where US and UK English differ the most. In American English, there is a tendency for two-word nouns to go hyphenated and then go one-word over the years, so some words will change during your lifetime.
