Why not declare 500 feet on our side of the border a military zone?
Then we could patrol the "Military Zone" with Jeeps or other vehicles with fifty caliber machine guns to secure this area to keep someone from being in this military zone. I don't think it would take long for people to get the message this this area is off limits. Why would this not work?
What makes it illegal?
I can't buy American even at the grocery stores. Most of our produce comes from Foreign countries.
If the military agreement is valid ,we don't honor it either we have NG on the border as back up.

The 14-years old boy Sergio Adrián Hernández was playing with some friends in the Mexican side of the border between El Paso, TX, and Ciudad Juárez, when some agents of the Border Patrol killed him with shots aimed to the head.
The FBI confirmed the shots and is in charge of the investigation.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent shot and killed a 14-year-old boy after a confrontation at an international bridge near downtown El Paso, Mexican authorities said Tuesday.
Agents detaining suspected illegal immigrants Monday came under assault from rock throwers across the border in Mexico, FBI spokeswoman Andrea Simmons said.
The FBI is leading the investigation because it involved an assault on a federal officer. The agent was not injured, she said.
Chihuahua State officials released a statement Tuesday demanding a full investigation into the death of the boy, identified as Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca.
It was not immediately known if the boy was among the rock throwers.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Doug Mosier said preliminary reports indicated one person was shot Monday evening on the U.S. side of the Paso Del Norte bridge, across from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
The Rio Grande, which marks the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas, is now a broad muddy moat flanked by shallow concrete banks.
T.J. Bonner, president of the union representing Border Patrol agents, said rock throwing incidents against Border Patrol agents are common and capable of causing serious injury.
"It is a deadly force encounter," Bonner said. "One that justifies the use of deadly force."

A U.S. Border Patrol agent based in El Paso, Texas, shot across the border and killed a 14-year-old boy in Mexico on Monday evening, a Mexican official in Ciudad Juarez said Tuesday.
FBI special agent Andrea Simmons confirmed Tuesday that a Border Patrol agent shot and hit someone on the Mexican side of the border Monday evening but said she did not know whether that person survived. Lou Patch, a supervisory Border Patrol agent in El Paso, also confirmed the shooting.
Ciudad Juarez spokesman Sergio Belmonte identified the dead teenager as secondary student Sergio Adrian Hernandez.
The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. after an assault on a Border Patrol agent, Simmons said.

This just happened last night so there will not be much news about it until about 48 hrs from the initial report.
I am sure if anyone looks long enough or hard enough there will be some sites, blogs, or personal spew pages about it, without any real evidence to back them up. But that is for those who would rather avoid a possible valid source and like propaganda.
