Why is Pelosi thwarting the Democratic process?
Pelosi won't even let the House vote on drilling! 75% of the American public wants to drill. Anyone with a functioning brain cell knows we NEED to drill! it is un-American to not let the house vote on this issue. Write or call your Congressmen and voice your disapproval. Pelosi should be removed from office immediately!!!!
P.S. For those of you clowns who said drilling wouldn't lower prices: Oil has gone down $17 a barrel since President Bush gave the OK to drill. Most experts agree that if Congress gives the go ahead, it could drop $50 a barrel or more! ACT NOW!!!
Beware of the Democratic Senate fake drilling bill! They want to drill where most of them own leases- where there is NO oil! Companies from all over the world have turned down the chance to drill those dry holes!!!
Julian- I was in the drilling business. I talked to people who said oil will flow in ONE year! Most of it will flow in 2-3 years. Only ANWAR might take 6-7 years. That 10 year talk is BULLSHIT!
Pelosi needs to be impeached. This is my major complaint with Congress and the Senate....they act like little children and will hold up important legislation just to stick their tongues out at President Bush. We should all let them know how we really feel and vote these jokers out in November.
