Does this seem like a good plan?
SO i love horses i mean seriously they are a big huge part of my life, I plan on having a buisnes one day.
Being a riding instructor teaching kids how to ride english and western jumping,western training.
I also plan on having a camp for kids with special needs. my boyfriend says wen we get married he would help and my family also said, they would help. This Is basically my life plan, I got a horse that has navicular and I belive she would be perfect to walk with kids on her back with special needs. Shes the sweetest mare ever an I know she would be happy to do this for me. I also plan on buying a Tb a welsh pony a qh and a warmblood.
Im not boarding anymore I dont own a horse but one, but i plan to buy land one day and start my own buisness. My carrier is horses, not a loawer or anytthing but horse horses

Your plan sounded good to me until the part about the navicular horse. Navicular disease is a progressive degenerative disease for which there is no cure. It is very painful. It can be managed for awhile with therapeaudic shoeing and drugs for pain, however as it continues to progress these things become less effective and the horse lives in pain all the time. The other thing that happens is that the drugs that are used to control the pain and inflamation can cause other problems with the liver and kidneys. There are other therapies like nerve blocks and cryosurgery to numb the hoof. But I havn't seen anything that can keep navicular from completely ruining a horses life. Lots of people don't realize the severity of this disease and think that they just need to stop running or jumping the horse which is true at first but after awhile the horse isn't comfortable no matter what you do.

Cowboys for Kids
Could I do this or do I need more experience myself?
Hi, I am saving up money for a horse and so I already have some jobs. So I was wondering if I could give riding lessons to kids under 8 or 7?
Here is about me and riding skills below:
I am 13 years old and have been riding for 6 years now in Western riding, and now have been doing English riding as well. I know how to post, and sit the trot. I can walk, trot, and canter. I know that your always supposed to have your head up, heels down, toes in, and be squared with your body while riding. I know how to handle horses if they bolt, buck, etc. I know how to lunge horses, tie them up, hoof pick their feet, load them up in the trailer, put a halter on them, lead them, turn them left to right, stop them, etc. I have trained 1 miniature pony how to ride and he would bite so it was harder for me to train him. I can train a horse how to neck rein/direct rein, and how to listen to our leg cues.

I'm pretty sure you could give lessons to beginning children. Many of my friends and I give lessons for fun, like my instructor wants to have me teach my dad how to ride LOL!
But you should never teach disabled children or anything you can't handle.. Only take on easy beginning lessons. Nothing more.

@Julie Here the INSTRUCTOR doesn't need insurance.. the BARN does. You sign a release form to the BARN not to the INSTRUCTOR.
And no you shouldn't charge much.. if anything at all.
