Can I buy a different saddle for a Spinner bike?
I want to get a wider saddle, and I saw a Schwinn for sale. Are Spinner bike parts exclusive to Spinner, or can I use other brand parts (primarily the saddle).
Been spinning for a while - just got my own bike for the home...
You should be fine but look underneath the seat to where it connects to the top of the seatpost .There are a few bikes that have flat linear rails instead of tubular and then the top piece of the seatpost might have to be replaced .
This is a rare occurrence but a quick look see might save you a trip back to the shop.
I get the odd feeling that you are talking about a stationary house bike.If so then the seat very well could be with oddly shaped rails or even attached to the seatpost with a weld.
If it is a welded post/seat then using a caliper or equivalent to measure the diameter of the post will be needed before going to a shop as they will not be able to guess what size it is.And 'no' they are not all the same,not even close.
